The Reclaim Our Democracy team at First Parish in Concord is pleased to invite you to an important event to help us manage more effectively with our deeply divided political beliefs. This division hurts our ability to work together, to find cooperative solutions, and to even maintain friendships with people who think differently.
Join us for a group viewing and discussion of the documentary, “Braver Angels Reuniting America.” It will help open channels of communication and make it possible to have better relationships with people on different sides of the political divide. We will have an enlightening viewing, a lively discussion, good fellowship, and leave with stronger relationships and ideas for how to move our country forward.
This documentary was produced by Braver Angels, a non-for-profit organization that is dedicated to fostering positive dialogue among people with different views, and reducing the “affective” polarization – the emotions and attitudes that keep us apart.
Lenny Mirra, a Braver Angels leader and former Massachusetts State Representative, will join us to introduce the video and help lead the discussion.
