How Democracies Die

Sunday, November 11, 4:00 – 6:00 p.m.

First Parish in Concord, 20 Lexington Road, Concord, Massachusetts

Donald Trump’s presidency has raised a question that many of us never thought we’d be asking: Is our democracy in danger? Harvard professors Steven Levitsky and Daniel Ziblatt have spent more than twenty years studying the breakdown of democracies in Europe and Latin America and have written this New York Times Bestseller. They will be discussing the book, showing us how democracies die, and how ours can be saved. After their talk the book will be available for purchase and there will be a book signing.
