Below is a list of organizations working on the topics of “fair elections” and “getting money out of politics”.
Move to Amend Formed in September 2009, Move to Amend is a coalition of hundreds of organizations and hundreds of thousands of individuals committed to social and economic justice, ending corporate rule, and building a vibrant democracy that is genuinely accountable to the people, not corporate interests. We are calling for an amendment to the US Constitution to unequivocally state that inalienable rights belong to human beings only, and that money is not a form of protected free speech under the First Amendment and can be regulated in political campaigns. American Promise The goal of American Promise is to win the 28th Amendment to The Constitution to restore American democracy in which we citizens - not money, not corporations, not special interests - govern ourselves.
Local chapter: North Bridge American Promise Fair Vote FairVote is a non-partisan, non-profit organization that seeks to make democracy fair, functional, and more representative. Our Revolution Our Revolution will reclaim democracy for the working people of our country by harnessing the transformative energy of the “political revolution.” Through supporting a new generation of progressive leaders, empowering millions to fight for progressive change and elevating the political consciousness, Our Revolution will transform American politics to make our political and economic systems once again responsive to the needs of working families.

Represent.Us Represent.Us is a nonpartisan, non-profit organization founded in November, 2012 whose stated mission is “to pass tough anti-corruption laws in cities and states across America, and end the legalized corruption that has come to define modern politics.”[1] Represent.Us advocates for state and local laws, often using the ballot initiative process, based on model legislation called the American Anti-Corruption Act—a proposal to overhaul lobbying, transparency, and campaign finance laws. Wolf PAC Wolf PAC is an American non-partisan political action committee formed in 2011 with the goal of "ending corporate personhood and publicly financing all elections in our country", to include the restriction of large monetary donations to political candidates, parties, and groups. It began with an announcement at an Occupy Wall Street rally in New York City by The Young Turks host Cenk Uygur. Its strategy is to add a 28th amendment to the Constitution, thereby overturning multiple Supreme Court cases including Citizens United v. FEC and Buckley v. Valeo, which cumulatively have made it impossible to achieve Wolf PAC's campaign finance goals through simple legislation. Wolf PAC believes that Congress is too corrupt to pass such an amendment itself, and therefore advocates a convention of the States, which is a procedure outlined in Article V of the Constitution. As of September 2016, five states have passed resolutions calling for such a convention, though not all states have used identical language in their convention call.

We the People Massachusetts We the People Massachusetts is a non-partisan, all-volunteer network of citizens across the Commonwealth working to amend the US Constitution to say that corporations do not have the rights of human persons and that money is not speech. Common Cause Massachusetts Common Cause is a non-partisan, non-profit public interest organization that joins individuals from across the nation in an effort to promote government accountability and democratic reforms. The Massachusetts state chapter has 10,000 members and is currently involved in redistricting reform, campaign finance reform, ethics reform, and citizen engagement efforts. Free Speech For People Free Speech For People works to renew our democracy and our United States Constitution for we the people, not big money and corporate interests. End Citizens United To combat Big Money in politics and dismantle our rigged political system by electing campaign finance reform champions and passing state ballot measures. These champions will work toward overturning Citizens United, ending unlimited money in politics, and ending dark money. We’ll work towards the mission by: (1) Electing pro-reform candidates, (2) Raising the issue of money in politics as a national priority and (3) Using grassroots membership to demonstrate political power on the issue of money in politics. Equal Citizens Our framers promised us a representative democracy. Our politicians have given us anything but. From the corrupting influence of money in politics, to the gerrymandering of congressional districts, to the games played to suppress the vote, to the absurd way that states allocate electoral college votes, our government has destroyed the core promise of a Republic – that citizens would be equal and represented equally.
Equal Citizens — a nonprofit organization founded by Harvard Law Professor Lawrence Lessig — is dedicated to reforms that will achieve citizen equality. We will launch a series of campaigns, both legal and political, that will end the corruption of our representative democracy by restoring the core promise of citizen equality in our Constitution. Democracy is for People Democracy Is For People is a project of Public Citizen. A major focus of our work has been building a movement to counteract the U.S. Supreme Court’s ruling in Citizens United v. Federal Election Commission, take democracy off the auction block and preserve constitutional rights for people - not corporations. Our big push is for a constitutional amendment to overturn the decision, which was handed down on Jan. 21, 2010.
